Balok River is one of the rivers in southern part Belitung Island, which empties into Bay. This bay forms wide and sheltered water it directly connected to Java Sea. paper aims provide an overview past maritime relationship pattern along surrounding waterfront environment. study examines existing data from archaeological research conducted by South Sumatra Archaeological Research Office National Center 2011 2021. remains such as ceramic artifacts China, Southeast Asia, Europe showed that these regions had been involved long-distance international trade networks. Regional contact with outsiders also proved findings pottery shreds jug roof tile fragments were not produced locally area.
